It has its headquarter office in Noida, India. It is a private company. The company was founded by 4 founders naming Mr. Hari Om Rai, Sunil Bhalla, Shailendra Nath Rai, Vishal Sehgal. The company was founded as a side-shoot of telecommunication venture. Lava along with India also has its footsteps in abroad countries like Thailand, Bangladesh, Nepal, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Pakistan, Russia, Pakistan and middle-east. The company also made their footsteps in Africa by stepping into Egypt with its launch of the product in 2016. Now the company has its plans regarding establishing a mobile design centre in India. They are also planning on setting up new manufacturing facilities in India. Lava also has its mobile testing facility and R&D office in India and China. The company has its 6 offices with 3 manufacturing and service units through our India. The company had also done its marketing campaigns with major Indian television reality game show Kaun Banega Crorepati and award events like IIFA Film awards. The company also planned to invest Rs220 crores more on its marketing campaigns in its financial year of 2014 – 15.

Lava also has the range of laptops and tablets along with data cards, software, 3G, mobile telephony. Lava tied up with Intel in 2012 and launched a smartphone with a name Xolo X900 and with this smartphone, Xolo brand was introduced. In 2012 only, with the launch of its tablet E-Tab 27H, company entered into the tablet segment.

The company launched its first flagship smartphone device as Iris Pro 30 which also the first smartphone in its Iris series. Then they also introduced Iris X1 which was the first smartphone to run on Android version ‘’Kitkat’’ operating system in 2016. The company also introduced its first smartphone to run on Window’s operating system that was Iris win1 in year 2014.

Besides this, the company also received ‘’best customer experience team of the year award’’, was recognized as “the smartphone brand with the least customer complaints” at TeleAnalysis Leadership Awards 2016, ‘Best customer service in mobile handset company’ in 2016-17 and many others.
